If am migrating a Certification Authority which is integrated with Active Directory, I know that CA read and write from NTDS.DIT. If I do a checkpoint on Hypervisor, and then I have problem in migration, can I revert back to that checkpoint or will I have problem as CA read on NTDS.DIT old data? Thank you

I have issue in Shared Folder Permission Management. i'm using windows server 2019 Shared Folder on server : ServerData Share Permission: Everyone -- R/W NTFS Permission: DomainUsers -- Read Enabled access-based enumeration Allow caching of share Apply to: This folder only Shared Folder on server : ServerData\UserOne NTFS Permission: Administrator -- Full control, UserGroup1 -- Full Control except Delete subfolders and files and delete. Apply to: This folder, Subfolder and files What i want to Achieve: I want to block delete but still can edit and save files. I'm ok if user can't rename files and folders. What I got: with above permission i can just edit and save notepad or wordpad files but not word, excel and powerpoint files as these files create a temp file while editing and replace the existing files which required delete permission. Directory Defender by BlueShoe can resolve this issue but the cost is too high. Can we achieve this without using any third party software.
